Gwen Keyes, District Attorney of Dekalb County

Gwen Keyes Fleming, DeKalb County District Attorney

Welcome to the web site for the DeKalb County District Attorney's Office. We have established the site to keep you informed.

We are committed to protecting DeKalb County's citizens and bringing justice to those who violate the laws of our state. We prosecute all felony crimes committed in the county. Felony crimes are those which can be punished by more than one year in prison. Child support collections is a branch of our office as is the Juvenile Court Solicitor's Office. Additionally, we have white collar and asset forfeiture divisions.

An important element of our mission is to provide support and information to crime victims throughout the criminal justice process. The Victim-Witness Assistance Program was established for this purpose. We have implemented specialized investigation, victim assistance, and prosecution teams for homicide, violent crimes against women, and crimes against children.

Thank you for visiting our web site. Whether your aim was to learn more about the criminal justice process, obtain answers to questions specific to our office, or determine the status of a case, we hope you find it helpful. We are here to serve you, so please feel free to contact us.
