Finding a Hearing Date/Time
Information regarding hearings for defendants can be found on the DeKalb County Clerk of Superior Court’s website: http://dksuperiorclerk.com/.

Scroll down and click on “Judicial Record Search.” Once you’re connected to the online portal, click on “Search Hearings,” and search Superior Court Hearings. Search by the defendant’s name, and you should receive the next hearing date and time, as well as the judge’s name, if applicable.

Viewing or Recording a First Appearance Hearing
To view a First Appearance hearing, visit https://dekalbcountymagistratecourt.com/. A link to the livestream can be found in the footer of the website. If you would like to record the hearing, you will need to file a Rule 11 with the DeKalb County Magistrate Court.

Instructions on Filing a Rule 22
To apply to have a camera present in a Superior Court courtroom, you must file a Rule 22 form with the court. A link to the form appears at the bottom of the Superior Court of DeKalb County’s website: https://www.dekalbsuperiorcourt.com/.

The completed form must be submitted to the court in question. The District Attorney’s Office does not have the authority to process Rule 22 requests. Contact information for each judge may be found on the court’s website: https://dekalbsuperiorcourt.com/judges/

Obtaining a Copy of an Arrest Warrant
The DeKalb County Magistrate Court releases copies of warrants. The email address is:  MagistrateCrtClerks@dekalbcountyga.gov.

Obtaining a Booking Photo
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department releases booking photos. Please contact the Media Relations department: https://www.dekalbsheriff.org/contact/

Obtaining a Copy of an Indictment or Other Public Documents Filed with the Court
The DeKalb County Clerk of Superior Court’s Office releases copies of public documents filed with the court. Records requests should be made to the Clerk’s Office: https://dksuperiorclerk.com/
